I picked the database “Projec Muse” from the music discipline. Project Muse is a wide database it includes the humanities, the social sciences and the arts. This database is from John Hopkins University press. The database has 220 peer reviewed journals and 35 academic publishers.I searched with in “hip hop and violence” in the title. 1) My research question is How does violence affect hip-hop.

2)I beieve history, music (performing arts), and pshycology would be the best disciplines that would relate to my research.

3) AUC has 2 majors and one minor that could relate to my topic. The two majors are History and Psychology. The minor could be in Music.

4) The one database is from the major of Music and the database is called Project Muse. The second database is from the Psychology major and the database is called PsycARTICLES (EBSCOhost).
